Coed Weddings, Saint Hillary- Wales
Magic! That’s the first word that comes to mind when you step onto the grounds of Coed Weddings…The stones, the vast fields, purity, nature, sense of utter peace…There are no words to describe it. I feel so privileged to be part of Ruth and Ollie’s wedding! They contacted me seven months before their wedding date. Extremely busy, living most of the time in Gibraltar, we were jiggling and finding time to meet, talk and finalise the menu. When I met them in person, I knew it would be an extraordinary, different and one-in-a-million wedding! Their vibrant personalities, zest for life, Ruth’s passion for cooking and soooooo much excitement in those two spoke volumes! I was ecstatic when they chose a Mexican-themed wedding, greatly reflecting their vibe and personalities. We shared giant burrito bowls filled with smoked, roasted and pickled vegetables, ‘chicken’ tacos, arepas, gortidas, salads, and cheesy nachos! And this is precisely what my cooking is about- not an off-the-shelf menu, but something that will tell YOUR STORY, YOUR WAY.
The atmosphere of joy, laughter, connection and pure celebration was apparent during the day, and the venue was a perfect choice to serve its beautiful and magical day. What a divine alignment. Ah! Feeling very dreamy right now!
